About Department :

The Department aims persistently strive for achieving excellence in computing disciplines. The academic result of computer department are excellent every year. All the experienced faculty members are actively involved to improve the academics , co-curricular & extra-curricular knowledge & activities of all the students.

The polytechnic has modern computer labs with advance systems like Dual Core and i3 computers, Printers and Internet Facility for the students and staff. The Department has one of the best infrastructures including domain-specific labs associated with the technical divisions.

The Department has a good record of organizing seminars, workshops, symposia and conferences in emerging technological areas. Our computer labs have all the required licensed software’s. All the functioning of the Polytechnic is computerized and all the computers are in networking. The college has a state-of-the-art computer centre equipped with near about 100 computers.

The labs are well furnished and have One MBPS Internet connectivity with routers. It is shortly going to be upgraded with two MBPS on high capacity fiber optic cable.

A Projector Room is play crucial role in student academics. It is used heavily during term for teaching / supervisions and other meetings. The Room is equipped with a data projector and screen, which may be used for academic purposes during staffed hours only. A laptop or PC use with the data-projector is available from the issue desk.

Student who pass 2 year Dip.in Architecture Draftsman with minimum 60% can eligible for Direct Second Year Admission to Architecture Assistantship(AA)
